All this week we have been busy in Barcelona at the Bread and Butter show. Converse had an amazing booth full of great kicks to come, but unfortunately our cameras could not come inside. What we can tell you is that the 100 year old brand is bringing back the classic Converse Weapon in a handful of great colorways including those originally worn by the crew that sported the Weapon back in the day. Boston and LA come to mind thanks to the “Choose Your Weapon” advertising campaign, but colors were also made for Detroit, Dallas, and NYC (my personal favorite). All of the Weapons are made of rich leathers and suedes and are lined on the inside with leather lining. Both high and low cuts will be available throughout the re-release campaign. Though cameras were not allowed inside the Converse set up, our good friends at Limiteditions (Barcelona based boutique) set us up with some good photos of the “Magic” and “Bird” makeups of the Converse Weapons.
