Converse has found gold while digging in the vault for throwbacks, gold and purple weapons that is. The Converse Weapon High will return in the original “Choose Your Weapon” colorways in spring of 2009. The Weapon is one of the most recognizable basketball shoes in Converse history, due to the marketing campaign from the 80’s featuring the Bird vs Magic. The black and white, and purple, gold, and white colorways specifically, will take the basketball and sneakerhead OG’s back to those Celtics vs. Lakers days of old. After last years NBA finals, it’s a perfect fit to have these release in spring of next year, possibly just in time for another Laker/Celtics finals. Photos after the jump from SneakerFreaker. |

I had da LAKER jointz wit da matchin’ NBA socks, then gave’em away. I might try 2 get’em back now that they are comin’ back. SWEET.

Yo these are the greatest kicks ever never should of been taken off the market everyone in jersey wears these they are up there wit air forces out here and yo perfect for someone like my self who wants to pplay ball but wont were nikes or reebok cuz i love my converse and will stay true to dem, they should stay on the market well all il= kno just come out wit the all blacks too cuz ill buy 5 just so i kno i got em to last and ill buy 5 white too
