Converse Addict Collection
 The Converse Chuck Taylor is a sneaker legend. The Converse Addict Collection is the new high-end collection that features higher quality materials and updated manufacturing techniques. It is part of the company’s celebration of 100 years.
Vibram soles and Poron-insoles along with premium materials are supposed to make this $35 sneaker into a high-end shoe. Although I am a fan of Chucks, it’s kind of crazy to think of spending $169 on the Natural Chuck Taylor Hi or $243 on the Leather Chuck Taylor Hi. Does Converse not realize that the popularity of the Chuck Taylor All Star is in large part, due to the fact that it is and always has been fairly inexpensive? i wud never pay much more then 10 dollars for sum chucks. they r not good quality or that good looking. by the way i bought a pair of navy/gold/red allstar highs yesterday for 12 dollars……..1st!!!!

$169?? They take themselves waaaay too seriously.
I’d pay $90.00 max, and that’s only if the improved manufacturing means that they’re significantly more comfy/supportive than normal Chucks.

It’s a nice design,but too much money. The quality of the chucks isn’t even worth $170+ dollars. They probably only paid $30 dollars to make those shoes.

futastar, what makes your statement laughable is the fact it costs even less than that to make Jordans and yet people still shell out crazy money for them.
I’d never pay over $100 for chucks, but have shelled out around that much for the chucks x varvatos shoes…
