Clear Shoes for Your Ride
| Don’t worry, Nice Kicks is not turning into an auto blog or anything like that, but I couldn’t resist posting this up. This past summer, Nike definately got major attention by making the clear Air Force Ones. Alot of fakers and biters have followed since making clear shoes.

I just hope if people get these they have the right mind to upgrade their ugly ass stock brakes and get some nice slotted rotors and nice calipers like Brembo, Willwood etc. I saw these for motorcycles also by the way.

hahaha… i think they are kinda tight but yea u would need the brembo brakes and stuff and u’d have to take them off and clean them like every week read about them here

this is a pretty dumb idea, brake dust is goin to get it dirty, freeway debris could damage them too, then sum asshole could get mad at u and take a hammer and break yo rims.(that would be messed up)

I would say that these are probably only for the show scene. I would use one clear rim if i wanted to show off the under fender of my car. ie, under fender details, coil over suspension, brake caliper and rotor etc etc… It would look better than just taking the wheel off and leaving it hoisted up on a jack.

guys….READ before commenting…these are made of a [b]polycarbonate[/b] type of plastic, not glass, that is temperature resistant and impact resistant (no need to worry about sturdiness here, these are very strong plastics). Other than that, the only complaint here is that it might show dirt, but if you have money like that to be spending on these wheels, then you probably have enough money to wash your car all the time.

I always have terrible trouble with comment-related plugins that require me to put some line in the comment loop; I can never seem to find the right spot. I got the same tramadol attack… well, not the same, because it was only about 20 comments instead of 90, and i t have any filtering set up, and I just deleted them one at a time… hmm.. the only thing really in common was that it was about tramadol… what filter do you have set up that caught them all?

Since one of the ideas is to split strings not into words, but hopefully into phrases more semantically informative than the words they are made of, doing that better should mean better suggestions, and avoiding what essentially are word n-tuples should make for smaller data and slightly faster querying.

Actually they are $5,000 US per rim… FIVE THOUSAND not two… and they are not real glass, but a poly-carbonate with a slick finish,… They like look three inch thick bulletproof glass.
I would buy a set in a second.
And yeah they look SICK on crothc rockets. LRG carries em.
