If a basketball junkie were to compare Chris Paul’s game to a mix of Ed Cota and Steve Nash, they wouldn’t be far off. If they were to hear CP3 say that two of his favorite shoes growing up were the Nike Air Adjust Force and Nike Zoom Jet Flight — models tied to both those players — they’d be both surprised and delighted.

Well, it’s true. The man who pushed ball like the UNC great years later at Wake Forest and now passes and jump shoots like the long haired legend who played under the same coach sees both PGs inspiring in spirit his latest shoe, the Jordan CP3.XI.

Debuted on court by the Rocket engine last night, the shoe’s strapped lockdown is a first for his line but dates back to his love of the Adjust Force as a kid and later wear of the Jet Flight.

Always a fan of low profile cushioning and low profile cut, the model makes the most of time-tested Zoom Air bags in both the forefoot and the heel while the XI’s collar as just shorter than a modern mid.

Slated to launch this April as Clutch City competes for a title, see the Jordan CP3.XI in all it’s glory below.
