Charles Barkley “Alpha Force” Air Force Ones
| The force was strong in Barkley for all of the years he played basketball. Due to his strength and size, he was the perfect poster child for the Nike Air Force line. This pair of Air Force Ones honors his duty leading the Nike Air Force.
Starting at the bottom of the tongue, the horizontal strap is that of the Alpha Force II. One of the last Nike Force shoes that Barkley wore before being granted his own signature line. Going up the tongue, you will see lace holes at the top like that of the Air Force V - one of the most sturdy basketball shoes made to date. Lastly, at the top of the tongue is the circa 1990 “Air Force” logo with the basketball again from the early Air Force products that Barkley wore. This pair is one of many releasing this fall honoring Charles Barkley’s service to the Nike Air Force. Stay tuned for more to come. |
