Vans Era Fixed Gear Pack
The Vans Fixed Gear Era Pack is the latest from Vans that pays tribute to fixed gear bicyclists.
Fixies seem to run the streets in major cities now, and Vans has been there with them the entire time. The fixed gear set features three of the Era low top. The era has been seen on fixed gear riders regularly over the past few years, so it makes sense Vans would choose it as the sneaker for this set. Besides the limited colorways, a simple cog and chain logo on the heel set this apart from the standard issue Era sneakers. These are available now at Vans.com Thanks to Complex for the info and pics. See all three colorways after the jump. |
Vans Sk8 Hi “Bat Trails”
|
Just in time for Halloween, Vans gives us the Vans Sk8 Hi Bat Trails. Naturally they chose black and orange colors to celebrate the upcoming holiday. With a trail of bats leading from the sole of the shoe up the ankle. What better way to help you celebrate the holiday, than a classic skate shoe in Halloween colors? Since most of us adults, can’t fit into those grade school release dunks we showed you a few weeks back, now there is an option to get you through the holiday with a fresh pair on your feet. Now we just need to find a place to go “trick or treating”! These Vans will cost you about $80 and available now at Essence. |
Vans Half Cab Pro Pack
We told you a little about Steve Caballero and the Vans Half Cab previously HERE. The new Vans Half Cab Pro Pack is a trio of the classic skate shoe that started life as Caballero’s second signature shoe.
Premium leather might deter you from using them for skating, but definitely shouldn’t stop you from picking up a pair. This trio features an all black, a black and gray, and a dark green version. They’re a general release from the Vans line so finding them shouldn’t be to difficult, at least you shouldn’t have to be up early, and they’ll only cost you $65. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. Take a look at all three after the jump thanks to Complex after the jump. |
Vans Vault Chukka Boot LX Cup Sole
The Vans Vault has brought us many new renditions of classic Vans shoes. The Vans Vault Chukka Boot LX switches it up from the usual skate version of the Chukka. This is the perfect shoe to get you in those “No Hats, No Jeans, No Tennis Shoes” type of clubs.
The shoe features premium leather that just screams luxury. The high quality plaid inner lining is perfect for getting you through the coming winter months. Attention to detail, like the hexagon shaped lace eyelets, set this release apart from the rest. Vans has definitely succeeded at turning this skate shoe into a new form of footwear, that is better suited for the opulence and luxury of a high rise over looking central park than a skate park. You can pick these up at Caliroots now. Lots of detailed photos after the jump. |
KISS x Vans Sk8 Hi Now Available
|
We previewed these KISS x Vans Sk8 Hi last month. The teaming of two legends, rockers KISS, and skate company Vans, makes for an incredible tribute to the bands 1978 craziness. In case you don’t know, each image you see on the shoe represents one of the band members. In 1978 each band member used that their image, as the cover for their own solo album. They all released their albums on the same day! Amazingly, all of the albums charted in the top 50! This kind of radical approach has made KISS one of the most popular rock groups of all time. It’s no surprise they chose to collaborate with Vans, who is equally known for thinking outside the box. Each pair of shoes features all four of the images from those album covers of 1978. These Vans have hit retailers and are available now. Thanks to our friends at Palace5ive for the update and the pictures. Detailed shots after the jump. |
Vans Half Cab Pony Camo
Last year, skate shoe company Vans, ran a whole series of camouflage Half Cabs. Earlier this year we saw pony hair show up on some Chukkas. Now out of the Vans Vault 2008 comes the combination of the two, the Vans Half Cab Pony Camo. Originally the Half Cab was Steve Caballero’s second signature shoe, which first dropped way back in the early 90’s. Now today in this remix, it gets a suede upper and pony hair. Throw into that the camouflage coloring on the pony hair, and this classic has a a new outlook on life.
Pay your respects to a skate legend, buy these shoes. Photos thanks to Flauge, which is also where you can pick these up now. Detailed pics after the jump. |
KISS x Vans Sk8 Hi Ace Frehley
|
Ace Frehley, is a lead guitarist and original member of the rock band Kiss founded by Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley. “Space Ace” as he was known, now has his own shoe thanks to this upcoming collaboration release, the KISS x Vans Sk8 Hi. The legendary rockers have also used the classic album cover for Dressed to Kill as inspiration for the 2nd of these Kiss X Vans Sk8 Hi. No release date has been set for these yet, but just like the album back in 1975, they’ll surely Rock n’ Roll all night when they drop. Check out the photos after the jump.
