Airwalk Spring 2009 Preview
With 22 years plus in existence, you can’t deny Airwalk as a player in the shoe game. Though they may have peaked back in the 90’s with sponsorees like, Tony Hawk, and skater turned actor, Jason Lee, the company has been a very successful footwear company. Though they are now owned by Collective Licensing International, the Airwalk Brand is still independently managed. Maybe 2009 will start the comeback of this iconic skate/surf footwear brand.
The Airwalk Spring 2009 Preview features four sneakers, two high tops, a mid and a low. The mid, pictured at right, features hemp-like upper, and exaggerated stitching that seems to honor Callous of the 2005 era. All four silhouette’s are prime examples of the company’s rich skate history. Check out the rest of the Spring Preview after the jump via Kix-Files. |
