Nike Atari Blazer Available Now!
The Nike Atari Blazer, also called the Nike Blazer Game Select, has now been spotted in stores such as Proper.
Inspired by the Atari CX2600 game system, this shoe portrays a wood-grain midsole, as does its Nike Air Force II counterpart. View an in-depth picture after the jump provided by Proper. |
Nike Air Force II Game Select Now Available
We showed you the latest Nike Air Force Two not too long ago, but to give you an update, the Nike Air Force 2 ‘Game Select’ is now available at Finishline.
The shoes takes color and material inspiration from the classic Atari console. Thanks to DailyDrop for the info. |
Nike Air Structure Triax 91 “Berry”
Nike running in the early 90’s brought major heat to the shoe game. The Nike Air Structure Triax 91 is one of those originals a lot of us have been waiting for. You can see the styling cues from other shoes from that era. The Air Structure Triax 91 is like a combination of the Air Max 90, the Air Stab, and the Air Max 180. Which should tell you these will be popular.
The white/varsity purple/berry colorway is a holiday 2008 release. We’ve been anticipating this arrival since back in May. The wait is finally over, as they have began popping up on eBay recently. Which usually means they will hit retailers very soon. Thanks to sneakernews for the pics. Detailed shots after the jump. |
Nike Air Huarache LE 2009 Releases
Nike Air Max LE Huarache 2009 releases will definitely be a must have for a lot of us. The Huarache running shoe was originally released back in the early 90’s. In the last couple years, we have seen basketball versions, cross training versions, and some ACG versions as well. None of them have compared to the running version. It is just one of those shoes that changed the game when it came out. So far, 4 colorways are scheduled to be released next year. In my opinion, the White/Orange is by far the best looking in the group. Followed by the White/Maroon. I can’t stand the tribal print on the other two, though the Grey/Yellow and White/Teal colorways are not bad color combos.
These are 2009 release, we’ll be on the lookout for more info when the time comes. Check the detailed shots after the jump. |
Nike Blazer Game Select
Just a week ago, we previewed a rare sighting of the Air Force II called the ‘Game Select’. Nike is bringing out the Nike Blazer ‘Game Select’ in similar fashion. This Blazer, as does the Air Force II, features a wood grain design on the midsole and a black leather upper. If you recall, the Air Force II had Game Select stitched in red on the side; the Blazer Select counters this with a stitched-in red line towards the rear of the sneaker.
In Black/Silver/Wood, these kicks are very unique to say the least. What’s with Nike and all this wood (pause) lately? Click the jump to see more in-depth pictures; provided by Mita |
Nike Air Flight Lite High “Bulls”
Back in 90-91, the Air Jordan 6 carries one characteristic from the Jordan 5 that gave MJ great traction on the court - the icy, clear sole. Jordan wasn’t the only on on the Bulls with a clear sole for the 1990-91 season, sidekick Scottie wore the Nike Air Flight Lite.
Nike is bringing that icy sole back to us again in November, in the classic Chicago Bulls colorway. The Nike Air Flight Lite High is a classic that should not be overlooked. After all, this shoe helped start the Bulls run of greatness, and inspired Nike to bring us the Pippen signature line, not too long after. Take a closer look at this upcoming release after the jump. They will be available in November for $110 at your local Nike retailer. |
Nike Air Griffey Max Retro Releasing
When Ken Griffey Jr. was in his prime he was an awesome fielder, had a canon arm, was a smooth base runner, and a swing so perfect it earned him his nickname “Swingman.” Back when he first signed his Nike contract “Junior” got his own signature shoes and they were some of the best looking pieces of sole to be made for the Mariner bomber. Finally, after years of waiting, and major career accomplishments achieved, the Griffeys are coming back.
The first catalog images of the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 made it to the web showcasing the original Seattle Mariner’s colorway. Griffey has been wearing player exclusive versions of the Air Griffey Max this season which lifted many eye brows in the sneaker circle. Want to see the shoes? Check them after the break.
