Nike SB Dunk Low Charcoal/Red
With the number of Dunk SB’s that have been released, it seems that the color combination’s would have run out by now, but Nike seems to always have a little something new up their sleeves. This 2009 Dunk from Nike Skateboarding has surfaced, the Nike SB Dunk Low Charcoal/Red.
This drop might have Nike SB back on track, it’s a simple colorway featuring charcoal, and a red swoosh, but what really catches my eye is the other material on the upper, a dark safari-like print really offsets the charcoal and red in a nice way. Just when you thought the Dunk SB was headed for retirement, Nike Skateboarding drops some heat. Closer look after the jump from user Kybosh of NikeSB.org |

Nike Dunk High x St Pauli of Hamburg
FC St Pauli sports club has the nickname “The Pirates of the League” and these Nike Dunk High x St Pauli of Hamburg take that nickname and put it into a literal sneaker concept.
With Barcelona and Milan coloways of the Hyperdunk recently dropping, it’s nice to see these St. Pauli Dunks. They don’t have the flashy colors or style of the Hyperdunks. Instead they fit the bad boy image of the of the Hamburg based football team. Featuring the pirate skull and cross bones, on a matching black and white colorway, and an ostrich skin swoosh, these keep the feel of the dark side. These are a Europe only release and will be limited to only 500 pairs. Photos and info via SoleRedemption. |
Nike SB Dunk Mid Beijing X Triumvir X Fly
As the Nike Dunk SB’s continue to drop, we have spotted a very peculiar yet creative style on the web. Recently, Triumvir founder Brandon Cheng was given full control over the design of this latest Nike creation dubbed the Nike SB Dunk Mid “Beijing”. Thanks to China skate shop Fly, Cheng was offered the role of sneaker designer.
The theme of the shoe was based on a Beijing native’s view of their own city. With that said, this sneaker possesses many detailed features inspired by Beijing’s icons including dust, noodles, traffic, highways and Tiananmen Square. Nike Dunk High Black/Royal Blue
These Nike Dunk High Black/Royal Blue colorway will be hitting retailers next month.
These upcoming dunks are reminiscent of the Jordan Pack/Cookie Monster Dunk Lows that dropped back in 2005, which were inspired by the Air Jordan 1. These Dunk Highs vary slightly from those dunks though, the sole and toebox remain black on these kicks. An interesting detail that might go unnoticed at first look, is the stitching, Nike opted for royal blue stitching on the toe area of this release to match the laces and accent color on the ankle of this Dunk. Only thing I would change, would be to throw some white laces in these, and you’d be good to go. Take a closer look at these November releases after the jump thanks to KicksonFire. |
