The Nike Mid Autumn Festival Pack consist of three popular models including the Nike Air Max 1 Supreme, Nike Blazer Mid, and Nike Terminator High. All of them look incredible, the gold just sings. Styling comes from closely associated icons to the festival. The chrysanthemum flower, the hare, and finally the color of the mooncakes which are which are a popular snack at the festival.  21 years and the Air Max 1 is still going strong. The Air Max 1 Quilted Black Leather continues the winning tradition with a hot new twist on the timeless classic. These will be part of the Quilted Pack that Nike will be dropping for the upcoming holiday season. The simple Black and White design with the premium quilted leather really set this shoe off and the hint of gold on those top lace stays make them irresistible. The Air Max 1 is always a favorite and it looks like all of us will need to be making room for another one in our collection come this winter. Big thanks to Sneaker News for the pics.  The “Infrared” Air Max 90’s came and went earlier this month at select spots without much notice. There is talk that the middle of next month there will be another delivery of everyone’s favorite Air Max 90, but nothing 100% that we would sign off on. What we can tell you is that Kix-Files just posted the Infrareds only minutes ago starting at $200 which is well below the eBay resale price. Grab what you can, while you can.  Recently Nike has been surprising us with classic Air Max releases with little to no advance warning. The latest to make its way back is the “Chili Red” Air Max 95 that has not been seen since it launched 3 summers ago as a Footaction Exclusive. The shoes are back at Footaction stores in the US and are in stores now. Not surprisingly staff and regulars have been snatching them up, so waiting until the weekend may be a little too late depending on how many Air Max heads are in your area. I will be the first to admit that I have wasted countless hours watching Tom Dickson and his Blendtec Blender annihilate everything from iPods, to golf clubs, to glow sticks, and who could forget the Bic lighters. Nike Sportswear and Blendtec have come together to blend the Air Max 90 with new technology and innovation. What will come of this cocktail of kicks? Watch and find out!
 Europe has been treated with a nice little dose of Infrared 90s lately. Across the pond they have seen the Air Max 90 Currents, Premium Air Max 90, and the original in Infrared colors while we have just been left with the AM 90 Currents…until tomorrow. That’s right, in a surprise release, the Infrared Air Max 90 will make its way to very, very few accounts tomorrow, August 8th. Some shops have received their shipment and are ready for tomorrow’s release.
The distribution of this round of Infrared Air Max 90s is extremely tight and just to the usual Tier-Zero doors of Alife, Bodega, DQM, Darkside Initiative, Goods, Major DC, Nort/Recon, Shoe Gallery, and Undefeated (La Brea and Santa Monica). While many of these spots should have the shoes by tomorrow, when we spoke with them, some were still awaiting delivery from Nike. Best we can recommend is to check in with your local spot or join the hunt on eBay. |
