Captured in a photo by Jim Ice, this retooled rendition of the LeBron 11 is prime for the playoffs and possibly redefined for LeBron’s feet. Over the course of the season, LeBron has favored the Nike Zoom Soldier VII over that of the LeBron 11. If this game is any indication, we could see James rocking the LeBron 11 Elite through the rest of the regular season and throughout the playoffs. Not one to forget where he came from, LeBron and his latest shoe, the Nike LeBron 11, once again pay homage with the latest “Summit Lake Hornets” signature edition. Based in court purple and vivid blue, the transitional area between the Hyperposite and Hyperfuse comes in bearing a honeycomb pattern, with the Posite sporting a color-changing Chroma look. The “Summit Lake Hornets” LeBron 11 will hit retailers on March 8 for $200.
Primed for the postseason, we get our first glimpse at Nike LeBron 11 Elite courtesy of Darnell Dockett. The Arizona Cardinals defensive end gives us an unofficial on-foot look via Instagram, showcasing a bright colorway of the playoff ready release. Much like previous Elite iterations, this pair relies on similar styling to that of the original. Set in black with diffused jade accents found throughout, this LeBron James signature release also includes light crimson Flywire and laces for added pop. LeBron James’s signature pencils in another colorway as the Nike LeBron 11 is seen in a Black/Diffused Jade colorway. Dominated by black on the Hyperfuse and Hyperposite outfitted upper, light crimson is seen on the Dynamic Flywire, hitting its stride on the laces and accents. Filling in the blanks, diffused jade is utilized on the inner lining, Swoosh and translucent outsole, giving the shoe a proper warm/cool color balance. The Nike LeBron 11 is set to release at Nike Basketball retailers, such as Eastbay, this Saturday, February 22 for $200.
A beast on the hardwood, the Nike LeBron 11 is also about that Lifestyle as the off-court NSW version is now available in a “Leopard” style code. Taking down the complex kick, its NSW-mod sports a reduced number of panels on the upper, with sweeping sections of animal print. Elephants, leopards and zebras are all herded onto the sneaker’s top skin, sidled by premium leather on the dark loden tongue.
