Nike KD 1 - Kevin Durant
After winning the 2007-08 Rookie of the Year Award, Kevin Durant has continued to shine in the league and add more accolades to his young resume. One of these achievements will be his first signature sneaker due in January dubbed the Nike KD 1. We have spotted some exclusive blueprint pictures (shown after the jump) of Durant’s first sneaker over at KenLu.
Obviously, Kevin’s sneaker are heavily inspired by his new team, the Oklahoma City Thunder. The ‘Home’ shoe features a white leather upper with an orange swoosh on the outside of the shoe and a white swoosh on the inside. You can tell, from the picture, that one side of the sneaker seems to be completely covered in Oklahoma City Thunder orange. On the contrary, the ‘Away’ sneaker features a black upper with an orange swoosh on the outside and an aqua blue swoosh on the other side. Both sneakers feature Durant’s initials, in yellow, on the ankle area. Lately, we have spotted Durant in our Kicks On Court Editions hooping in a Nike Air Blue Chip PE. Along with Durant, we also have Lebron James (Nike Zoom Lebron 6), Carmelo (Air Jordan Melo M5) and Chris Paul (Air Jordan CP3) that have or will be releasing signature shoes within the next 3 months. The Milan colorway features a mostly orange upper, with black and white accent colors. The winning detail has got to be the green laces though. In addition to all the performance the lightweight Hyperdunk offers, this colorway really hits the mark. So whether you call it football or soccer, these latest Hyperdunks are fire. Two weeks ago we showed you the Nike Hyperdunk Chris Bosh PE. We have now spotted this PE at SVP Sports. The Hyperdunk Bosh PE features a CB4 logo on the tongue and the number 4 on the toe box.
Along with the release of this Hyperdunk, Nike presented Bosh with his own apparel dubbed CB4 (not Sir Charles). It will be comprised of t-shirts, shorts and hoodies all featuring an iconic silhouette of Bosh’s facial expression. |
Nike Zoom LeBron VI Released
For those of you who have been following our daily column Kicks On Court, you probably have gotten a good look at LeBron James’ sixth signature sneaker, the Nike Zoom LeBron VI. For the Zoom LeBron VI, James worked with Nike designer Ken Link to create a shoe that meets his performance needs and the needs of players with a powerful, dynamic style of play. The Zoom LeBron VI not only has a full-length Zoom Air unit in the mid-sole for the ultimate responsive ride, but also has a Zoom Air unit double-stacked in the heel.
The versatility of the Zoom LeBron VI stretches beyond its on court capabilities. While many have dedicated kicks for on and off court wear, the LeBron VI’s design give it the ability to come correct off the hardwood and in the streets. A clearly shaped toe-box, triple stitched leather midsole wrap, and toothed outsole create a bit of a throwback to a Nike Basketball favorite that debuted in ‘82. The Nike Zoom LeBron VI releases today, October 31st for $140. Photos from kenlu. Available online now at Finishline and Nike. |

Kobe Nike Hyperdunk Supreme
While there have been some shots of the Nike Zoom Kobe 4 floating around on the web, it looks like Mr. MVP will be wearing the Nike Hyperdunks for the next several months. Though not exactly like the ones he wears on court, this colorways is quite similar and close enough for many fans of Mr. Bryant. The shoes are slightly higher than the regular Hyperdunks, but still a pretty decent price of $125.
Check your local retailers or play it safe and scoop online at Nike Store. Plenty of detailed shots of the shoes after the jump. |
