First Look: Nike Zoom Kobe IV
Let the controversy begin once again as the first Images of the Nike Zoom Kobe IV have dropped. The shoe is a low top basketball sneaker which also includes flywire technology, lunar foam, and herringbone pattern sole makes a return. It set to release in January of 2009 and will certainly be a hot topic on the boards about how will it perform. Mark Smith - New Global Creative Director of JB
Last night, Pete from Premium Laces surprised the show by bringing on celebrity-sneakerhead Chi McBride on the sneaker radio show OSD (Obsessive Sneaker Disorder) where he dropped some news that was an even bigger surprise.
Mark Smith, one who has brought much creative energy to Nike Sport Culture and also the man behind the “laser beam” at Nike will be joining forces with Jordan Brand as the new Global Creative Director of JB. Many Jordan heads have questioned the direction that the brand has been heading in the past few years, but look for things to change. Times are getting interesting in Beaverton and it will be nice to see what direction Mark Smith leads Jordan Brand in. P.S. Mark if you are reading this, I’m not calling you “evil” - you are just known around the sneaker circles as the “laser” man. |

Beaverton Visit
Much apologies to fewer updates the past few days. We have been on the road and swung by Beaverton while in Oregon. Words can’t describe how incredible an experience it was to see the grounds of the Nike Campus.
I can’t post too too much or tell much of what I saw, but expect some great products in the future everyone. Nike and Jordan Brand will both be redefining performance and style like no one has. It was a pleasure to meet all of your who I met and I look forward to returning to Beaverton soon! |

Kicks and Chicks Calendars
Combining two of the most important things to male sneakerheads makes for some interesting art. Kicks and Chicks first launched a few years ago but they have just released their first calendar so you can bring the pin ups home with you for $15. This is yet another one of the many products created to compliment the habit forming shoe obsession. |
