New Balance MT580 x realmad Hectic x Mita Sneakers
The New Balance MT580 x realmadHECTIC x Mita collaboration team is at it again. This is the 14th collab and one of the hottest to date! The MT580 was originally an exclusive to Mita Sneakers of Japan back in the 90’s. It has since become a canvas for a great number of collaborations, the latest of which you see here. The grey suede uppers combined with the neon-like blue and pink mesh toeboxes and accents definitely make these head turners. A detail I notice is that the grey/pink colorway has a pink midsole at the toe area, whereas the grey/blue has a grey midsole at the toe area.
Personally I think the blue would look better. What do you think? No info on a release date yet. As always, we’ll keep you updated, so keep checking back. Check the pics after the jump. Info from Hypebeast. |
New Balance presents the Super Team 33 Suit Edition 998
The New Balance Super Team 33 Suit Edition 998 is available at select stores this weekend. This collection is the latest installment in the Super Team 33 series from New Balance. The Super Team 33, a.k.a the best of the best at New Balance, hand made these new 998’s right here in the USA, on the fifth floor of the company’s’ plant in Skowhegan, Maine.
I don’t even know where to begin on the exquisite details of these shoes. The materials are top of the line. Velvet lining, embossed Super Team 33 scripted logo, and a flannel wrap dust cover…wait, that’s only the box you’ll be storing them in when they are not on your feet. Let me get on to the shoes themselves. The supple suede, wool suiting material and premium leather are just the beginning. Three colorways, brown, black, and grey give you the option of matching anything. Laces inspired by suit ties are included, as are solid colors to match the uppers. The New Balance Super Team 33 Men’s Suit Collection releases exclusively at ST33 doors tomorrow, September 20th for $200. |
LFSTL X New Balance 577 Cockroach Update
|
If the city of Rotterdam was condensed into a shoe, what would it look like? LFSTL (”lifestyle”) a shop in Rotterdam, Netherlands answers that question. The LFSTL X New Balance 577 “Cockroach” was dreamed up by Arnie and the team at LFSTL. Inspired by their home town, the colors on this drop share the colors of the city. The grey, black, and white are a common sight in the structures of the city since it has essentially been rebuilt since WWII. Petrol (blue) represents the harbor and the river that splits the city down the middle. Purple represents the innovation and open mindedness in Rotterdam’s future. Check the pictures after the jump to see what their creative minds came up with, to rep their home town. This shoe will release this October 25th at LFSTL. Info via LFSTL. |
New Balance M1300 New Colorways

The New Balance 1300 is something we do not see too much of here in the US, but over in the UK this is a hot model. Especially with the crackle style sole that will really turn heads. New Balance has continued to give UK Sneakerheads a diverse supply of colorways this year. You might recall we told you about some of these a while back. These three newest colorways of the New Balance 1300 all share the same soft grey mesh as this years earlier releases. Attached to suede uppers and color matched laces, I’m sure they’d be popular if they did drop here stateside. Personally, the Brown/Orange colorway is right up my alley. The blue/yellow reminds me a little too much of Easter, and the red/yellow is…well…just not my cup of tea.
Bigger photos after the jump, so tell us what color you like. Info via SneakerFreaker.
Solebox x New Balance 1500 Update
A few days ago we posted a few preview shots Solebox supplied to us of their upcoming New Balance 1500. Hikmet of Solebox has updated the web with a full shot of the shoe on his feet to give us a better impression of the shoes.
Just as we predicted, the shoes do sports gum sole like with the last two Solebox x New Balance 1500’s. The upper is predominantly black with a soft grey suede toe cap and little accents of mint green. A big push for simplicity is starting to take foot in collaborations - something we have no problem with. No date or price has been anounced at this time; however, given that these kicks are manufactured in the UK and released in Germany, don’t expect a very cheap price if you’re paying with US dollars. |
Atmos X New Balance 576 “Hologram”
Celebrating 20 years of the classic 576 New Balance has teamed up with Atmos Japan to bring this new joint. The New Balance 576 “Hologram” are a wild version of the timeless runner. The “holographic” black patent leather gives them their nickname, while the hot pink elephant print and the scripted New Balance on the heel make this a hard one to pass on. A nice bright style to keep your feet hot over the winter months dropping September 11th. Photos thanks to Atmos. More pics after the break. |
Solebox x New Balance 1500 Sneak Peak
Solebox out of Berlin has had some serious success in previous collaborations with New Balance. It looks like they are at it again with the New Balance 1500 just as they did before with the “Toothpaste Pack.”
From the sneak peek pics after the jump it looks like there just might be a gum bottom on the shoes - something that Solebox has done with New Balance on multiple pairs in their collab lineup. No release info is available yet, but we’ll keep you posted. |
