Bape x DC Comics Bape Stas Released
| The DC Comics x Bape collaboration has finally made its way to stores. We first heard about this collaboration when we saw photos of Bape x DC hoodies. Knowing Bape, there was no way they would just stop at clothing.
Just a few days ago, the Bape Stas as well as Play Bape toys have released in Japan. The shoes have made their way to many online shops including Stay246 who was kind enough to supply us with these photos. Like the Marvel Comics Bapes, the packaging is almost as unique as the shoes coming in what looks like an action figure box. The good news for all of us in the US is that they will release at the NYC Bape store. |

DC Comics Bathing Ape Bape Stas
| Just when you thought that Nigo and his Busy Work Shops were sitting around doing nothing, he drops another bomb on us all. This year we have seen virtually every possible all over print (love it or loathe it) on the Bape Stas, but these DC Comics joints are definitely one for the win column.
A little while back we had some preview shots of some DC Comics hoodies and we had and aching feeling (and hope) that we would see kicks as well. The four characters represented by this collection include Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, and of course Superman. Along with the kicks, Bape didn’t pass on the opportunity to release some limited edition toys for the “kid in all of us.” Pics thanks to HypeBeast. |

New All Over Logo Bape Stas
| Nigo was successful in the sneaker realm with sticking to a common plan - make crazy looking sneakers in limited numbers and with limited distribution. These new Bape Sta sneakers definitely follow that doctrine.
For a while we have seen Bape Stas released with all over camo prints, but lately Bape has been producing the classic shoe in new all-over patterns. In the past year we have seen the “junk food” Bape Stas, “Alohas”, and now these kicks that have an all over print of different Bape logos. From Milo to General Ape to the famous “Bape Star”, these shoes are sure to catch the eyes of any passer by as well as create one hell of a challenge for Fape makers. |

DC Comics x Bape Sweaters
| Clothing isn’t normally our gig, but only when it relates to sneakers. At this point, we do not know if there are any DC Comics sneakers coming, but we can only hope. What we can tell you is that Bape released several Marvel Comics edition Bape Stas a couple of years ago and they have a series of DC Comics sweaters that they have let the info out about.
Some of the most memorable DC Comics characters include Batman, Superman, and Flash Gordon - all represented by these sweaters. Pics thanks again to Complex. |

New “Aloha” Bape Stas
| Bape Sta celebrates the summer the way many Japanese residents do - a trip to Hawaii. Just recently released, this is the “Aloha” Collection Bape Stas.
There are a total of 4 colors of very colorful kicks in this collection. At the BWS (Busy Work Shop) there are plenty of accessories to hook up with the shoes as well. While we were in SoHo, we did swing by the Bape store and saw these in person. The sticker price is $190, so you better call your friend from NY to help you out before buying from a reseller. A Bathing Ape Pinstripe Bape Stas
| For the past year, A Bathing Ape and its signature sneaker, the Bape Sta, has been on a slow decline of popularity. This has been bad for Nigo, but great for those who love the brand since getting Bape Stas is a whole lot easier since the Hype Beasts have moved onto something else.
Ditching the Bape Camo print, these Bape Stas feature pinstriped patent leather which is a first for Bape. No word yet if these are available at the NY BWS (Busy Work Shop), but several online retailers including Cliffedge have them now. Info thanks to HypeBeast. |

National Flag Bape Road Stas
Last August, we gave you a look at the national flag edition Bape x Kaws Chompers. The two sides collaborated to make a package of four Chompers to Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Italy, and Brazil. Bape is back to work cooking up some good sneakers and will be releasing the kicks in the same color/countries as before except this time using the newly popular Road Stas.
Though these shoes do not have any patent leather, Bape would never pass the opportunity to use bright colors. These are going to be a sure hit with Bape fans from the countries represented. Pics/info thanks to HypeBeast & Secret base.
