The Asics Gel Lyte II LE is another old school joint revisited, that will help bring Asics back up to the top of the shoe game. The white on white is a can’t miss, that’s always nice to have in the closet. The second of this release, the black/anthracite/grey colorway, brings a new print style to the table. The texture of the material is intriguing to say the least. It is similar to the materials that are available at the Nike iD studio, but with an Asics twist. This makes for a subtle look that will definitely cause people to take a second glance. It looks like a winning concept to me. What do you think? Check out the detailed pics after the break.
These Asics GT II LE white/white and black/anthracite/grey are available now, order yours up at The Good Will Out in Germany. |

The Solebox Asics Gel Lyte III released late last month exclusively at their store in Berlin, but round zwei (”two” in German) of the shoes will be coming very shortly. The second round of the Solebox Gel Lyte IIIs will feature all of the same color changing tricks of the first release; however, the Solebox logo was removed.
Only 350 pairs will be spread across 16 shops in Europe, Mita in Japan, and Alife in the US for the release taking place September 27th. The shoes will be priced at 120€ across the pond, but no word yet what the price will be for the few pairs that will land in the US at Alife. Full list of stores graced with the second release listed after the jump. |

Asics has been bringing their “A” game as of late on more than just the Gel Lyte III. You may remember the White/Royal/Orange GT Quick’s or David Z’s GT Quicks that we brought to you earlier this summer.. These new joints would be a perfect shoe for hitting up a game this season on throwback jersey night for the Seahawks, Mavericks, or Canucks. Sneakersnstuff has these available now for 116.91€. Plenty of nice of shots after the jump. |

Sneaker collabs are often welcomed with a matching T-shirt or fitted, but just like the shoes, Berlin based Solebox has taken things to a whole new height with a matching jacket.
The jacket’s solid grey shell matches the upper of the shoes but has some other minute details that hook to the shoe without making you look like you are dressing up as the shoe for Halloween. The most clever touch on the jacket is the color changing zipper that is activated by the sunlight just like on the sneakers. While the Solebox Asics Gel Lyte IIIs are limited to only 250 pairs, the jacket is limited even more to only 100 units. Both items will be an in-store exclusive that will release on August 23rd. The Asics Gel Lyte III has done wonders in the past year to bring back the Asics name into sneakerhead’s vocabulary, but make no mistake, Asics has plenty of other great silhouettes to keep this comeback alive. The Asics GT-II is another silhouette from the vault that has been recently brought back, but with no store or brand collab done on the silhouette (yet) few have the shoe on their radar.
The GT-II has landed overseas, but has been offered to retailers for a release down the road. This pair is currently available at Sweden’s Sneakers N Stuff.

The Asics Gel Lyte III made its stay at many elite boutiques in uber-limited numbers, but this 1990 classic sneaker has also come in exclusive colorups to Foot Locker. Like most Foot Locker exclusives, the shoes are only available in stores and not online meaning you have to get out from behind the monitor and head to your nearest mall.
This colorway is one of just a handful that Foot Locker has done in special makeups with Asics. Prices do vary depending on materials, but start at just $74.99. Photos thanks to Jeno Torretta from the SC Forum / KicksOnFire. |

The Asics GT Quick recently made a big return as a David Z x Asics collab, but across the Atlantic, this silhouette is not sitting on the sidelines. Asics Europe has recently released the GT Quick in colors you would have thought you would see in New York with the combination of White, Royal, and Orange, but just because they drop overseas won’t mean they will stay there forever. Perfect shoe for the final time you watch the Mets play at Shea or the Knicks in the fall. In stock now at Solebox. |
