RAP - Rockwell x Alife x Patta Update

RAP Rockwell Alife Patta Everybody MidAlife has just updated us with more photos and details of the upcoming “RAP” release. The three way collab will release tomorrow, April 29th, at Patta in Amsterdam and then on Saturday, May 3rd at Alife NYC, LA, and Vancouver as well as online at RockwellClothing.com. Like any Alife collab, it wouldn’t be complete without a matching T-shirt. For this set the rectangular logo that ties all three brand together hooks to the tongue of the Everybody Mid.

Photos posted after the jump illustrate the fine details that went into this shoe including logo placement, color balance, and material mixture. How does this collab stack up compared to the other collabs Alife, Patta, and Rockwell (Parra) have done in your opinion? Leave your 2 cents. Info thanks to High Snobiety.

Rockwell x Alife x Patta “RAP” Everybody Mid

Rockwell x Alife x Patta RAP Alife Everybody MidAlife has collaborated withe friend Patta in an interesting three some that includes Amsterdam’s Rockwell. The “RAP” (Rockwell x Alife x Patta) edition Everybody Mid is one of Alife’s top collabs yet that employs their silhouette. Keeping it basic, the shoe sports a solid royal upper but multiple materials add interest blending canvas, nylon, and perforated nubuck. Red and white eyelets alternate along with other splashes of the color to make this a good shoe for the 4th of July BBQ.

The “RAP” Everybody Mid releases April 29th at Patta in Amsterdam and then May 3rd at all three Alife shops (NYC, LA, Vancouver). Photos compliments of Patta.

Alife Rivington Club x Asics Gel Lyte III Preview

Alife Rivington Club x Asics Gel Lyte III

Last October Alife and Asics came together on three make ups of the Asics Gel Lyte III.  These “monsterous” kicks were the true epitome of love/hate with more heads leaning towards the latter.  Next door at the Rivington Club, the ARC crew has worked up two colorways of the Gel Lyte III in some toned down, yet creative colors.  The pair on the left is an interesting mix with Curry/Royal Blue, with hits of the Alife Red.  Opting for something better than average, the toe box is a unique nylon paratrooper material.  The second pair is a simple yet attractive blend of greys with the only added color being the light orangish red.

According to FreshnessMag, these were designed with Asics before the Monster edition Gel Lytes, so for the picky folks, it could be argued that these were the first collab between the Alife fam and Asics.  Either way, look for these to release in May in only 216 pairs spread across the Alife shops.  No word yet if they will be made available online, but we can only hope.

Alife Rivington Club x Asics Gel Lyte III

Alife has been one side of many unforgettable collaborations including the “Ball Out” Pumps, “Repeat” First Rounds, and “Monster” Gel Lyte’s just to name a few that have released in the past several months. Next door at the Rivington Club, the ARC crew is throwing their hat into the ring with their first ever sneaker collaboration on none other than the Asics Gel Lyte III.

Staying up on current trends, the Rivington Club went with simple colors while utilizing quality materials. There is a healthy dose of team or varsity inspired color ups on kicks for ‘08, but these add a nice flip with a dash of “Rivington red” to the front part of the sole.

A release date has not yet been set in stone at the moment, but look for them to come in the next coming months. We will keep you posted with any and all info we get about these premier Rivington Club kicks. Sneak peek thanks to The Clones.

Alife Everybody Mid Premium

Alife is releasing a new round of the Everybody Mid in a Premium version to just a few select accounts. Scattered across the country in just 12 shops, these will be a harder grab than usual.

Though simple colors, Alife added detailed touches of the embossed “ALIFE” all over the upper like we saw on the Alife x Puma First Rounds last summer. For those who are not able to purchase in person, ALIFE NYC has made a few available for phone orders. List of the shops after the jump.

Alife Everybody Lumberjack Set

Alife Holiday Lumberjack Plaid

The year is winding down with colder days and changing styles. For a few months T-shirts and shorts have not been appropriate attire up north and one pattern that has made its way onto alot of clothing items this season is plaid.

Independent sneaker maker Alife dressed their classic silhouettes, the Everybody High and Low, in a Lumberjack Plaid much like we have seen some other companies do. Note: this is one of very few shoes with an all over pattern that won’t make you look like a fool stuck in ‘06.  Pics thanks to Freshness.

Alife x Reebok Court Victory Pump Ball-Out

Alife x Reebok Court Victory Pumps Ball Outs Black and Pink

Alife and Reebok team up in a duals match that can’t be beat by anyone.  The two came together for a third set after success of the Ball-Out in Lime, White, and Orange.  This time around Alife and Reebok created some unorthodox colors of black and vibrant pink.  For this set, Alife made sure that the ladies could take the court and so the shoes are available in sizes 4.5Y (6W) all the way up to men’s size 13.

For all of those who do not live near an Alife Shop (NYC, LA, Vancouver) you have the fortunate ability to grab these online via Alife’s Holiday Pop-Up Shop.  There you can grab these as well as some other Alife collabs such as the Alife x Asics Gel Lyte III and Alife x Timberland boots.  Being hesitant will leave the same result as on Black Friday - you snooze, you lose.
