Air Jordan Fusion 6 Electro Lime
The love/hate design of the year continues with another drop from Jordan brand. The latest Air Jordan Fusion 6 is the electro lime colorway.
These Fusion’s feature a little bit of a change in the colorway of the as the heel area gets a black coloring to offset the white on the front side of the shoe, that and the ankle strap make it very reminiscent of the Penny IV. The black and white is hit up with “Electro Lime” accent coloring on the tongue and heel area. If you haven’t decided already check the photos after the break and let us know whether you hate it or love it. Available now at Sole-Locker. |
Jordan 6 Rings Championship
|
It seems we see an exclusive Jordan 6 Rings from the Championship Pack almost everyday. Although we have seen Jordan 6 Rings inspired by Phoenix Suns, LA Lakers, and the Portland Trail Blazers, this particular sneaker appears to encompass each team the Chicago Bulls beat for their six championships. The colorway is predominately black, yet, it includes all of the aforementioned teams’ colors in one way or another. The special feature on this busy sneaker is the laser print which portrays different symbols and designs representing each team MJ and the Bulls conquered. For example, a picture of the Space Needle surrounded by raindrops represents the SuperSonics spot in Jordan’s history. A mailbox and a mountain range symbolizes the Utah Jazz’s two title losses, and a picture of a glider stands for Blazers guard Clyde Drexler. As for the Phoenix Suns, a picture of Godzilla represents none other than ‘Sir’ Charles Barkley. The whole laser print is scripted in yellow and purple possibly symbolizing the LA Lakers. If you are feeling this sneaker, it officially hits retailers on January 24th, 2009. More detailed pics after the jump provided by Footlocker Unlocked. |
Air Jordan 11/12 CDP - Could it be?
When the news broke last year about the concept of the Countdown Package broke, many began wondering (and salivating) for the Jordan 11/12 CDP. At last the Jordan 11 would return and would be paired with another great shoe, the Air Jordan 12.
For months the colors of the Jordan 11 and Jordan 12 have been a major mystery. Jordan Brand did help us out a little bit when they posted the colorways on their official release dates page, but JB has been known to throw some curve balls. At last, we have found photos that give what just might be the visual confirmation that we have been waiting for months. 52xie posted photos of what appears to be the Jordan 11/12 CDP displaying the Black/Red colorway of the Jordan 11 and the “Taxi” Jordan 12. Footwear Faceoff - UNC Jordan Jumpman Pro vs. Kentucky Hyperdunk
Last night, one of the most heralded college basketball rivalries took place in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The UNC Tar Heels demolished the University of Kentucky Wildcats on national TV; however, that was not the only battle that took place on the hardwood.
The Air Jordan Jumpman Team Pro and the Nike Hyperdunk have been a constant force on the pro level, and it seems the college hardwoods are populated with them as well. Most of the Tar Heels sported Jumpman PEs in a White/Carolina Blue colorway with the school logo right below the Jumpman sign. High school basketball recruits have, or will choose UNC over many schools just because of its Jordan affiliation. What a nice recruiting tool! On the other side, UK players sported a royal blue/white Nike Hyperdunk PE with its school logo on the tongue. This is very similar to the Kentucky PE we showed you earlier this month. |
Air Jordan 6 Rings Championship Pack - 1992 Title vs Portland Trail Blazers
Yet another colorway has surfaced form the Air Jordan 6 Rings “Championship Pack”! This particular sneaker takes inspiration from the 1992 title the Bulls won over Portland Trail Blazers.
Obviously, the Portland Trail Blazers colorway is featured on this sneaker (red, white & black). The laser print on this sneaker portrays some interesting details from Michael Jordan’s 1992 season. For example, a picture of a glider represents the Trail Blazer’s star player Clyde ‘The Glide’ Drexler. We all remember in Game 1 of the 1992 Finals when Michael Jordan knocked down six three-pointers in the first half and shrugged his shoulders at Cliff Robinson. Well, there is a silhouette of MJ doing just that in the laser print. Click the jump to see the other details close up including a picture of Jordan at the 1992 Olympics. More pics after the jump. This weekend the Jordan 1 Retro High returns, but for a first time, the shoes sport a removable strap. The shoes come in two colorways that each have their own unique flavor to them. The first pair, comes in the unmistakable Black/Red colorway that David Stern and company banned from the NBA. The other pair releasing is a non-original colorway, but makes use of canvas on the black panels on the upper similar to the AJKO. Both pairs officially release this weekend at Jordan retailers nationwide, but Boston area folks can get hooked up with these at Concepts in Cambridge for $110 each.

Air Jordan 20 Fusion - Midnight Navy/White-Silver & White/Black-Varsity Red
|
As we inch closer and closer to the release date of the Air Jordan Fusion 20, new pics have surfaced on the web. On November, 28th, 2008, Jordan Brand will be releasing this hybrid in two colorways: Midnight Navy/White-Silver and White/Black-Varsity Red. Although not as unique as the Marcus Jordan PE we showed you last month, this Fusion owns a few interesting features itself. Reminiscent to the Air Jordan 20, they feature a laser print velcro strap over the top of the shoe. The rear of the sneaker is also Air Jordan 20-inspired. The Nike Air Force 1 inspiration is noticeable on the midsole; however, it also features the classic Air Force 1 ankle strap. More detailed pics of each sneaker after the jump.
