Jordan Flipside New Colorway
Jordan brand has been expanding always going forward with their new lines of shoes. A while back we were introduced to the Jordan Flipside which is a skateboard shoe JB has been developing. Here is a new color way of the shoe in a light brown and military green, no date has been set for this release and no info at this point. Thank you to Dougie for the picture. |
First Look: Air Jordan Fusion 6
For those of you who thought that Jordan Brand was going to call it quits at the end of this year for the Jordan Fusions, think again. The shoes have a sincere love/hate relationship with everybody, but any retailer can tell you that Fusions move.
For the first part of 2009, the Air Jordan 6 will return in the form of a Fusion. Nelly has been spotted in a low top pair, but here is a first look at a mid-cut in originals colors. For those who know their OG Jordans, the Jordan 6 has only been retroed in two colors from 1991 - Black/Infrared and Carmines. This Air Jordan Fusion 6 gets its color cues from the White/Infrared Jordan 6. No release info or pricing is presently available. Earn some eProps after the jump by listing the other OG Jordan 6 colorways to have not returned as a retro. Pics leaked by EDWeeNO of NikeTalk. |
Air Jordan Sneakerhead
Speechless. I don’t even know what to say after hearing this other than someone in Beaverton better be hooking this girl up with some shoes! Great rhymes and flow Kim D. Vid from TheShoeGame. |
Air Jordan XX3 Low Release
|
One of the many indications of the summer season is the release of low top basketball kicks. Don’t ask my why it is a seasonal thing as many players prefer to play in low cut kicks, but with the hotter weather the casual wearer will appreciate a cooler feel. Tomorrow the Air Jordan XX3 low releases in two colorways: White/Midnight Navy-Silver and White/Varsity Red. Like the high top Air Jordan XX3, the shoes feature a unique stitching pattern on the side of the sneaker that provides structural support decreasing the amount of environmentally hazardous glue used on the shoes. Priced at $135, the Jordan XX3 low is quite a bit cheaper than the high tops which rang up at $185. Given the shoes being a general release, it shouldn’t be too hard to be able to score a pair, but if you want to take it easy, grab them online. Jordan XX3 Low - White/Midnight Navy-Silver |
Jordan 6 Rings Black/Red
The Jordan 6 Rings isn’t set to release for more than a month (8/16), but pairs have been surfacing earlier than expected. For those not familiar with the background of the shoes, the Jordan 6 Rings is a hybrid of the 7 Air Jordans that Mike wore in his efforts to achieving his 6 NBA Championship rings. Listed below are the elements from the shoes represented on the Air Jordan 6 Rings:

Air Jordan Spizike Black/Gold - Detailed Look
Here is a detailed look at the Air Jordan Spizike Black/Gold which we reported on last month. To our surprise, they have already started to hit Nike Europe accounts. Once again, it looks like Jordan Brand is having a hard time parting ways with the Spizike. To date, there have been 9 colorways of the retro Jordan mash-up released, but it appears another pair is due.
The Air Jordan Spizike Black/Gold will not have the “Spike” print on the toecap and back of the shoe, but rather lasered leather. They feature black premium leather with gold accents along with a golden sole and laser pattern with gold filling. Now for the bad news: Much like the Cool Grey Spizike, this particular color-way is also a European exclusive release and it looks like you will need to take a trans-Atlantic flight or find a European connect. They have already started to hit Nike Europe accounts. Good luck getting your hands on a pair! Photos from CaliRoots / KicksOnFire. |
Throwback Thursday - Air Jordan 6 Olympic
We have recently had a ton of Olympic coverage lately and with the Games quickly approaching, what better time to pull out another Olympic shoe.
MJ himself was not on the court in the Sydney, but his shoes were present. Ray Allen and Vin Baker were both Jordan Team members as well as members of the 2000 Olympic Team that won Gold. Nike released the shoes that the two JB athletes were wearing at Niketowns limited to just 3,000 pairs. This was the first retro model to be a Niketown exclusive and the first to have a “limited” run. To many the shoes were a navy version of the Carmines with the color blocking resembling the original. Finding the Olympic Jordan 6, not to be confused with the Jordan Olympic 6, is not as easy of a task these days considering the shoes released almost 8 years ago. Thanks to age the clear outsoles are no longer clear on most of them either. Plenty of shots of the shoes are posted after the jump. As a teaser for next Thursday’s Throwback, this athlete was only 17 years old when he won the French Open. |
