Bodega x Reebok Royal Flush VIP Event
| At last, the Reebok Royal Flush collection will be releasing shortly. This hand of sneakers features 5 Reebok Classics plus an extra wild card. Though said to be released just in time for the Poker World Championships, these shoes first made their debut in Las Vegas for All Star Weekend.
Celtic’s Rookie and Houston native Gerald Green went soaring over Nate Robinson in the 2007 NBA Slam Dunk Contest taking home the title while wearing the “King of Spades” Reebok Omni Lites. The Celt’s had another star who did amazing things in the Pumps as well. In 1991, then Rookie Dee Brown took home the Slam Dunk title in unforgettable fashion. Prior to soaring through the paint while doing the “no-look” dunk, on national TV, he bent over and ‘Pump’ed up his kicks. After landing, he casually knelled down and let the air out. This helped make the Pump’s on many kid’s wish list. Now to the really imporant info - Reebok and Boston’s own Bodega will be putting on an event on Wednesday June 20th. For two hours you will get the chance to get the first shoe in the Royal Flush, the 10 of Spades Ventilator. In attendance will be Gerald Green and Dee Brown. Come down, get some kicks, play some poker, and get the opportunity to meet a Celtics legend and a legend-to-be. |
