The adidas Originals Consortium Tour, although just getting underway, is already making a stop in Japan for a huge collaborative release alongside BAPE and NEIGHBORHOOD to officially debut the Superstar Boost.
At first look, the Superstar Boost is a uniquely captivating shoe. It takes on the appearance of a mid although it really isn’t, an illusion created by the models extended ankle collar. We also see an infusion of Primeknit and suede everywhere except the front foot, which has been preserved for traditional shell toe construction. But most interesting is the implementation of Boost cushioning, noted at the medial side of the midsole. BAPE and NEIGHBORHOOD co-branding appears at the tongue, quarter panel and heel tab.
The BAPE x NEIGHBORHOOD x adidas Superstar Boost will be available on February 4 at select Consortium retailers globally. Stay tuned for more details.
