    BKost - I wasn't trying to sell anybody on the shoe, God knows I am one of the most opinionated when it comes to my personal taste, most people don't share my opinions. Some of my friends truly dislike this shoe, it's definitely growing on me. I'm the same way as you, if I like it that's all that matters. Ask some of the homies, I'm jockin' some Pony's right now! Never thought that would be the case. I just remember picking up those originals for dirt cheap when I was in high school/college, sometimes I think people base their opinion on whether or not a shoe sells well or whether or not their friend is gonna cop. I wasn't referring to you BKost, in general, I don't understand how people can hate a sneaker, regardless of who it's made by.

    You kids might not remember but MOST of the Air Jordan OG releases hit clearance racks/sale prices before they were gone. I can tell you I picked up 9's, 10's, 11's, 12's and 13's for way less then retail, at the mall when the original's released in the 90's. It wasn't until after "retro" 3's and 4's came out that there were all of a sudden "sneakerheads" were everywhere.

    g1phone - Air Unlimiteds and Carnivore's are very similar, and from the same year, but the Carnivore's have a large strap that runs right across the midfoot. The Unlimited's wrap more angled upward towards the ankle.     A lot of cats in the league are thinking $$$ first and foremost. That's probably why you see a lot of them sign to Adidas, a big up front dollar and a signature shoe is more appealing than a slightly smaller contract amount and your number stitched into a pair of Hyperdunks. Just my opinion.

    Kevin Martin is one of the realest people I've ever met, this is one of the most modest, deserving guys to play in the league. His personality reminds me of Jordan, unlike the chumps like Josh Howard and Melo. Who can't keep themselves out of trouble. Those are the types of cats that shouldn't even be allowed to wear Jordans.

    The Jordan IX cleats were released back in 2002-2003. So it will probably be a difficult find! I haven't seen any around for quite a while.

    I have a hard time getting into anything that takes away from the classics. 1's 90's 95's III's IV's etc. The 360 sole is comfortable, but like a few comments up, it really deserves it's own newly designed uppers.

    I only call it cement because that's the only color Nike/JB have ever listed on the box. I can never get enough of it. I do agree that these may look better with a white swoosh. Maybe 3M? LOL at the Blood Vessels comment! Other brands coming out with it is always questionable to me. But I can't blame them for wanting to have it on their own products.
