Atmos x Puma Mid Macaroni Penguin
 The third shoe in the Puma x Atmos x Mitsuaki Iwago – Endangered Species Collection, Polar Pack, is the Atmos x Puma Mid Macaroni Penguin. The colorway of the PUMA Mid draws direct inspiration from the Macaroni Penguin of the Antarctic, which is a vulnerable beast who is facing a high risk of extinction in the wild. The most noticeable feature is the collar of the shoe that represents the Penguin’s head feathers. The shoes come with three sets of colored laces and have the Atmos “A” on the lace tips and heel.
Each shoe in the collection captures the unique characteristics of a specific animal, and features Mr. Iwago’s photography on the removable insole. The name and habitat of each animal is on the reverse tongue and the outsole in both English and Japanese. The shoes were created in hopes of bringing attention to our impact on these endangered animals. The Polar Pack will be on sale only at Atmos NYC and Ubiq in Philadelphia beginning on June 28th, look for the Asia Pack later this summer. Atmos NYC |

i actually beg to differ, i think they’re one of the greats out of the pack..personally im gonna pick the seal’s over them, but i just may have to cop both..since they’re gonna be at the same place when i go..why not..

I think they look ok. The meaning behind them is more important than the look (and they look… no words can describe the look LOL).
I didn’t know all the background of the sneaker nor did I know it was art of a pack of sneakers (somehow I miss that part). The get bonus points in my book for being about the environment.

I really dont like this shoe but….What they are going for I think they nailed it and if I was around for the release date i would definately pick them up. It’s a one of a kind. I definately would not wear it though.

Really though I like puma. I want some sky his bad, that and some burgandy/grey clydes. I remember puma was releasing some really nice clydes in og looking colorways, but no burgandy with the grey stripe….
Am I the only one that really wants burgandy and grey clydes???
