Asics Gel Lyte III x DavidZ “Black Patent”

The Asics Gel Lyte III has quickly become a popular model for collaborations. This David Z x Asics Gel Lyte III may be the best one we’ve seen yet. Ronnie Fieg of David Z has been the man behind the previous David Z collaborations we have shared with you and this is his seventh Gel Lyte III he has worked on in case you lost count. This colorway is always a winning combination, but the materials really set this Gel Lyte III apart from the rest. The black patent leather mixed with grey suede looks incredible. Only thing missing is a little splash of red on the heel and lace stays, oh wait, they he has that taken care of too. I suppose the only thing left, would be to make this drop extremely limited, say maybe…only 200 made. That pretty much means that you need to be in the know for this release unless you want to shop eBay for higher prices if they even make it there. The shoes drop Friday, Oct. 3rd at the David Z flagship store in SoHo as well as online at DavidZ.com for $100. Plenty of detailed pics after the jump, give them a look, let us know what you think. |

This is a good look. Very clean. Like the combination of Patent & Suede. Definitely get a pair of these Gel’s to go with my other David Z exclusives.

don’t know for sure i ordered mine offline and yeah i got an email sayin i ordered them but they havent been shipped out yet .. im thinking they did a 100 in store and 100 online but dont know for sure

True, but since it’s a limited release, I’m sure they have some netface tracking the orders online making sure they don’t oversell the sizes.
