Air Tech Challenge “Agassi” Retro - Another Look
| Personally, being a big fan of Agassi and his sneakers dating back to when he had a mullet, I was quite excited to hear about the re-release of the Air Tech Challenge happening in 2007. A couple months ago we put up a post showing that the retros were not the same color as the originals.
Today we spotted these shots on TheShoeGame, and his photos confirmed our fears of the shoes not being the color they were back in 1990. A let down, yes, but there is another colorway releasing in 2007 that are exactly like the originals. Though the original “hot lime” color was replaced with the boring “varsity maize”, I would be lying if I said I would pass these up if they hit the outlets.
