Air Jordan Melo M5
 Carmelo Anthony wore the Melo M4 for most of the Olympic Games, but in the second half of the Gold Medal Game, Carmelo broke out something new - the Air Jordan Melo M5. These Olympics have been a major platform for brands to bring out their best and debut new product with major appearances by Nike, Adidas, Puma, and Reebok to name a few.
The Melo M5, designed again by Footwear Design Director of Brand Jordan D’Wayne Edwards, features the exterior stitching like we saw on the Air Jordan XX3 as well as a ribbed plastic piece at the heel similar to the Air Jordan 15. Just from the few shots we found online it is a bit hard to diagnose how great of a shoe the M5 will be, but anything that has to “one-up” the M4 has a tough task to accomplish. The sole is similar to the XIV near the arch. Nice incorporation of a few past Jordans.
Still not too big on the Melo line though.
On another note, I got my Molten ball (pictured above) last week. That sh*t is a beauty and it feels so much better than the official Spaulding ball!
Should see the rotation on it in person, so pretty. Especially coming put of my hands!
