Air Jordan 8 PE for Kobe Bryant

While there could be a valid debate on whether Kobe had better signature shoes with Adidas or Nike, no one can deny that his “unsigned” year was the greatest. Part of his agreement with Adidas when the two parted ways was that Kobe had to have 1 year unsigned to any brand and not wear one brand’s shoes more than 3 games in a row.  Never officially a member of Jordan Brand, Kobe was treated with some of the best Jordan PEs ever (except for the man himself of course). Kobe received the Air Jordan 3, Air Jordan 7, *Update* Air Jordan 9 (got schooled by the dean), and Air Jordan 8 in special PE makeups to wear during the 2002-03 season. As for how many of each were produced, we have no clue, but finding them is an extreme rarity. A month or so ago at the Funkmaster Flex Sneaker Battle in Edison, NJ we did come across a pair of the Kobe PE Jordan 8’s, but even better that the shoe itself, they were game worn and signed by Kobe. These shoes won the award for Best Jordan in show. The current price on eBay reflects just how rare and special these shoes are (click to see).

20. LoL at the comment about the seller being a FRAUD and everyone ignoring it! Its not hard to get a pair of fake kicks size 13-16 and then scribble on them and pass em off as PE! I see the AJ 8 Ray Allen Celtics colorway at my local fake shop in BKLYN! Ray is probably about a 13 I wonder how much I can get for them???
    No picture of Kobe signing them, at least with a camera phone, and you want me to pay over $3000….Suckas!

    I like the Ray Allen ‘ s better .
    but in the mean time the PE III ‘ s qo hella hard .

    On the other hand [ aside from the fact that I ' ve never really been a fan of VII ' s ] I ‘ m not into the PE VII ‘ s either .
