Air Jordan 7/16 Countdown Package
 Only one week separates us from the release of what many are calling the best Countdown Package of the year to date. Like the 6/17 Pack, a legendary shoe that has only been seen in the early 90’s will finally return - the “Hare” Jordan 7. Also in the pack is the Air Jordan 16 releasing in its debut color, Black/Red, that initially released more than seven years ago.
Like with all Countdown Packages the retail price is a hefty $310, but considering the prices that the originals that each of these two sneakers sell for, the price won’t too hard of a pill to swallow for some Air Jordans enthusiasts. Take a look at more photos after the jump sent in by osneaker.

im not going to be able to get these sadly enough.i always wanted the 16’s in white, blue though.it was 00-01 i think. the 7’s, not much to say. just one of my favorites of all time.everyone always thought the 8’s were the bunnies. WRONG. that would be these.i’m going to have to use credit if i want these.

the 7s are ok, but i’ma save my money for the IVs in July, IIIs in the Fall, and the XIs in December. nobody can tell me any of these earlier packs (except maybe the VI) can measure up to these 3 packs releasing in the second half of ‘08!

please tell me the 7’s arent all white cause in the picture they look all white..its bad enough that there coming out wit the 7’s again and destroying a classic but if they changed the color to that would be a shame.

The tongue is HORRIBLE on the 7s also i agree with Frank, they look too white, but Im really dissapointed about no Red or Turquoise one the tongues? what were they thinkin… KEEP IT REAL JB, if it aint broke…..

I will answer this as carefully as I possibly can…
It was well known when the colors were chosen for the Countdown Packages that there were certain colors that have grail status that were not in the packages.
JB didn’t want to throw out EVERY great shoe this year to the point where we could all say “I have all my fav’s, now I can retire.”
There are many legendary original colorways that have not yet been re-released and as long as those are out there, heads are hungry - just the way they want us to be. To directly answer your question, plans for ‘09 are being set as we speak, but I have not yet heard of the Bordeaux’s coming, but don’t be surprised if we see them the next time VIIs release.

I know that the countdowns are hard to get. I got the 13/10 just because i was in the right place at the right time. I really want the 11/12 coming out. Any advice on how i get them. My collection will never be complete, but i think i can have a little bit of closure with the 11 and 12 pack.

IV AND XIX=19 IS TRASH
III ABD XX=20 IS COOL, BUT ITS STILL AT SOME STORES
XI AND XII= HOW MANY TIMES ARE THE BRED XIS GONNA COME OUT,,EVERYONE I HANG WITH,,THERES STILL LOOK NEW, AND YOU CAN COP A PRETTY CLEAN PAIR OF TAXIS FOR ABOUT 160-170 RANGE, THAT ARE OG (SHOULDA USED THE RED/WHITE PLAYOFF INSTEAD)
so lb for lb, this pack is probably one of the only ones except for the 11/12 that both pairs of shoes are good. cause the 4, the whole pack sucks, the 4 sucks and the 19 sucks.

gold: i see what u’re sayin about the IVs, they coulda done a better job but the XI breds r nice whatever way u wanna consider it. they r one of those releases that even if mad people cop u really need to be alert otherwise they all get sold out before u have time to even get ur money together. I still don’t have a pair so thats a must for me. mad people i see wear fire red Vs, but that don’t make them worse shoes. people always wanna be so SPECIAL lol, its funny to me. Jordans will not make u special lol

I got minez like 2 weeks ago,the 7’s are the best shoe that have dropped this year.I’ve worn them twice now and get mad compliments.Have’nt worn the 16’s yet,I’m copping all packages.

Cant friggin’ wait for this package…
I actually passed on the Carmine 6’s in order to grab these (I’m satisfied with my pair of Black/Infared 2000 VI’s, so the Carmine goes to my “someday” list)
There is just something so nasty about those Hares, and the 16 (in the best og colorway) is a massive bonus for me as I never had those.

The retro Jordan 7 Hares have a few differences from the originals. I am waiting for my CDP to arrive, but if they don’t come in soon enough for a side by side, I will post a full look at my OGs so you can see the differences.

already got these resrved and all i got to do is wake up and strap up just in case any sneakerheads cant control there hunger. there is crazy people in da shoe game in texAS THAT WOULD LITERALLY DO ANYTHING FOR A PACK.so if ou in texas you better not go by yo self to pick them up. and these shoes are hottest pack ever not because of how rare they but because of how they match. i wish the 11/12 pack would have came out with hte space jamz and black and red 12’s.

The shoes aren’t all white, the lighting in the pic, from the camera or something makes the grey on them a bit lighter and the tongues do have turquoise on them. These pics, somehow, have to be a sample… because all the other VII’s have the turquoise color on the tongues.

The color differences are very slight (the grey is lighter/turquoise is lighter), but they’re definitely close as one can get, to the OG.

the VII are one of my favorite designs. u got these, the dark shadows (please retro that colorway), the black play offs, and the dream team shoes. can not say much about the 16’s, i really do not care for them.

I know that this is only a wish but wouldn’t it be nice if the dropped an OG package with the original first 2 colors of the Jordans that were released (white and black release). Like for the 7’s if they brought the hair Jordan (white) and the air Jordan (black/grey) as a package which brings up something else do yopu remember when all star weekend would be the release of both the air Jordan commercials and also he would wear the shoe for the first time in the game. I know that I will probably show how old I am but I remember when he first blessed us with the black/grey 7’s in the 1992 all star game and then the black and aqua 8’s in the 1993 and also the white and Carolina 11’s in the 1996 game. Those were the days.

I strongly dislike the 7’s. They look like they’re made out of paper, and the tongue is always weird looking.
Still though, the light grey, white, and red looks really good. I mean, I love the color way, I wish they’d put something similar on a pair of 6’s.

7’s are missing more green on the tounge. 16’s are a great donation for Goodwill. 1’s,3’s,4’s,5’s’6’s,7’s,11’s,13’s,14’s are the designs that make Jordans. 2’s,9’s,10’s,12’s, where ok but 15’s,16’s,17’s,18’s,19’s ok,20’s killed Jordan. 21’s tried 22’s were so stupid looking and they last hooraa 23’s had to grow on you to like them.
