Air Jordan 6 Rings White/Dark Concord-Black
 The Jordan 6 Rings, like its hybrid predecessors, is much a love/hate shoe, but to bring some familiarity to an unfamiliar product, Jordan Brand has assembled the shoes in timeless Jordan 11 colorups. Previously we have shown you the “Playoff” aka Black/Red Jordan 6 Rings, but so too does the “Concord” color makes its way to this shoe.
This time around, one won’t have to worry about soles yellowing as this pair of Jordan 6 Rings has a white rubber outsole. The “panther pods” of the sole bring the Concord color as well as the Jordan 8 esque pattern on the midfoot plate. The Air Jordan 6 Rings’ debut will take place this weekend, August 16th, but you will have to wait on the Concord colorway until late October unless you are willing to spend extra with Sole-Locker to have them early. |

When all is said and done Fusions will go down in the history books something like this:
1 - Chinese bootleggers strike JB by producing cheap counterfeit replicas Jordan shoes and grossing billions in illegal sales. (JB LOST)
2 - JB strikes back by producing a new legitimate line of shoes fashioned after the bootleggers product which they called FUSIONS. (JB WINS)

3 - Fusion shoes were peddled to JB enthusiasts and ‘tweens’ with expendable income and to the surprise of many grossed sales in the billions! JB continued the Fusion line until the wheels fell of and the company folded in 20–. (Hypebeasts LOSE, JB WINS AGAIN!)

But on topic…
Ok… the defining moments package was slick as it comes because they were versions of the shoes the man wore during his conquest of the NBA. Trying to take six of them and mash them together? It just doesn’t work as well. And then putting them into color combinations that remind us of the real thing? That’s just insulting us! It’d be best if JB stuck to retroing the originals and giving us new color combinations of the originals, not some Frankenstein abomination.
However, if JB must insist on continuing down this path, let me make what I believe to be a brilliant suggestion:
Memo to Jordan Brand: Regarding Spiz’ike, 6-Rings, and any other future mixed-genetic JB shoes:
put them on Nike ID and let us ruin, er, customize them as we see fit.

^^^I’m not sure you understand that the majority of retros are GR(general release), with fewer being labeled limited. Unless you’re trying to say that they’re being released like Team J’s, which is totally untrue.

nikeindabutt, it’s not like everyone is gonna be able to get their hands on this shoe. It’s gonna sell out just like the Dubs and Spizikes did. And unless I’m remembering incorrectly, then this colorway is actually limited as well, so that makes them even rarer.
There’s a difference in the way GR Retros and Team Jordans are released, you should know that. Team J’s are produced in huge numbers, and are even produced more than once I believe, while GR’s are produced once, and not in the volume that Team J’s are. Retro’s are released as GR or rarer. These will be released in a similar quantity to Retro’s, like the 8’s of last year etc., that’s the point I was trying to make. Not everyone will be able to pick these up, even if they want to.

Another pair of Mashed Potato Jordans.
1. Quit watering down the shoe game.
2. Don’t release anymore MPJ’s w/ OG colorways.
3. To all who buy this, JB is releasing a new concept in 2010 called Air Jordan Z. It is composed of what seems to be a Z strap. It is predicted to cost 1200 in US dollars. So when it comes out make sure you buy the actual and fake versions. /joke
