Rumors regarding this murdered out Air Jordan 6 have been swirling since the shoe first surfaced several months ago. “Are they “Black Cat” 6’s?” was the obvious, and then, unanswered question.
Today, though, with new images from several notorious sneaker leakers, we can say that all signs point to yes; this is the Air Jordan 6 “Black Cat” colorway we all hoped it was.
Jordan Brand, too, simplified the apparent inspiration by placing a cat logo on the insole, nailing home the shoe’s placement on the short list of “Black Cat” inspired Air Jordans.
Otherwise, the blacked out style deviates just slightly from its monotone upper with white accents across the midsole. Moreover, the toe features perforations throughout, something we haven’t seen on the Air Jordan 6 in past iterations.
The Air Jordan 6 “Black Cat” will release on New Years Eve, closing out the year for Jordan Brand on December 31.
