Air Jordan 5 Fire Red Comparison

Many of you went goo-goo for the Fire Red Jordan 5 Fire Reds. Here are pics comparing the difference between the OG Jordan V Fire Red and the retro Jordan 5 Fire Reds. One can notice the 23 is shaped differently, the jumpman logo on the back of the shoe, and since being new, the soles are crystal clear. Big thanks to kicksaholic for the heads up on these pics.     Andrew,

    I personally have a pair of the OG Fire Red 5’s. Though they were not limited, finding a pair today is still pretty hard and finding a pair in good condition is nearly impossible.

    I believe you are thinking of a special version of the Fire Red Jordan 5s. Jordan had a limited run of only 100 pairs which he gave to family and friends. I know that one of the 100 pairs is in the private collection of Dependable Jay, but beyond that one pair, I have not seen any others.

    Props to you for even knowing about the limited Fire Red Jordan 5s.  Many people had no idea Nike even made this shoe in this color before.

25. So I had these as a small man back in 90. Not the purple ones but the ones with the 23 in the sides. I plan on buying the ret’s later this year. Does anyone know of any way to keep the soles icy? Or does Nike just use some cheap corroding crap that is doomed to yellow? Peace

33. These shoes are my ultimate favorites of all the jordan shoes. I just love the colorway on these and the 23 on the side just speaks for itself. I plan on buying at least 6 pairs of these when they come out, Thanks Nike for finally releasing the best classic jordan shoe made!
