Air Jordan 5 Black/Silver #23 Sample

A long time ago, Michael Jordan wore the Air Jordan 5 to work day in and day out. Something special Michael Jordan had in 1990 was player exclusive models of two of his Air Jordans. This is one of the colorways of the Air Jordan 5 that Jordan wore on the court which were slightly different than the Air Jordans the average Joe could buy.

What makes these special is the #23 stitched on the side of the sneakers. The version released to the public in 1990 and again in 2000 did not have the #23 on the side, but rather was blank. We just got these sample pics today off of NikeTalk that make us drool even more for the Air Jordan 5 re-retro release coming this January.

Right now, these are just sample pics and the release is another 5 months away, so anything can happen. We have the pics straight from Nike which do not show the #23 so these samples may be as much of a grail as the 3M Jordan 5 samples.

Finally… Thank you JB for the love of bring back an og and not a bs color way… It is the way it should be…On a classic you can never bring it out too much…The sad part is that we all have to wait to purchase these…I will gladly rock these with the respect they deserve…Oh and remember the line starts here and ends at the back…..

  33. JB is coming with a lot of heat in 07′;Fire Red III’s, these V’s,possible those Royal/Yellow III’s, woh knows what else they have in store. I know i’m just adding towards the hype, but regardless of quality this will probably be worth it.The V’s in 2000 were nice, but still lacking the #23.However despite the fact, i’ll be in line for these J’s.I still don’t like the fact that prices are high.Its even worse being in Canada, but J’s like these come around maybe once every 5 or 6 years, so I wouldn’t be too surprised if they sell amazing and sell bad in some area.Personal preference, but whatever the choice, these J’s are dope.
