  10. I thought I’d be more excited about the IV’s, like when I first read about the “comeback” for the colorway, but I’m not even as CLOSE to that mood, as I was previously and the release is in a few days.

    I’m probably just gonna cop the OG’s from FCNY, whenever that’ll be…

    Definitely not interested in the 19’s. Never was, never will be.
    I still haven’t even copped my 16/7 CDP… somehow, I’ve been very NON-interested in kicks lately.

  18. doesn’t help that they use like a size 20 in the pic…..other than missing the original logo….these kicks are a must cop….I’m with homie say’n gonna wait for FCNY ta drop the singles….IMO the 19’s are assed out…..especially with the colorway they dropped….I’d rather just get ripped for one pair than 2…..Been a rough year for JB….I wanna see what they have forecasted for the 09″ campaign….not gonna talk sh*t jus yet….

    No offense, but this has been said about every package since May, and they’re still widely available. Haven’t we all seen a pattern? Theres MANY packagaes to go around, so as long as you stay on your grind, you WILL get one. It’s not hard. Online retailers re-up like there’s no tomorrow. This pack is mad wack imo. Good luck to everybody getting there’s.

    Shoe sizes most likely will vary, but with the side by side comparison, you can easily tell there’s a huge difference in length and height, the way the newer IV Retros are made.

  24. I dont know wat everyone is talking about but these are by far the best package to be released. The IV’s are arguably the best jordan shoe ever made and the 19s are amazing basketball shoes, the only package that will be better are the 11s and 12s package.

    Definitely not and “by far” is a bit of a stretch, well, it is.

    The IV’s in that colorway still can’t save this pack… just watch how many 19’s get dumped onto eBay and are sold on ISS and NT.

    True, there are some “heavily sought after” shoes in the packs, but THE BEST PACK this year, hasn’t been released yet and it’s the 11/12 pack, obviously.

    7/16
    11/12 (when we see them)

    Pattern? They are all closer to the OG versions in comparison (in terms of styling [ex. Nike Air logo] & quality).

    Dave - no pics yet but rumor has it the V in the package will be the white/black/red with the 3M reflective tongue that like the retro from ‘00—except it will have the 23 on the side similar to the fire red…
    As for the 18’s…you guessed it—blk/red!

    All this is strictly rumor but I believe it to be accurate.

    Um…you just answered your own question! The main complaints with the IV’s are inferior QUALITY and the jumpman logo!

  56. I am dropping too much loot on my girl (worth it) and other expenses like watches and sunglasses (sort of worth it). Plus, I have to save money for a move-in on a new apartment for September. Gotta stack the green for a while… so I’m skipping this pack.

  66. as long as the 5s in that pack are not the fire reds themselves, i dont mind that they will have a jumpman instead of nike air logo, unlike a lot of people on here i accept the fact that nike/jb is probably reserving that nike air logo that everyone, including myself, holds in such high regard for some special releases sometime in the future (at least that is my feeling). i had the 2000 re-release with the nike air on the back, i wore them until they fell the f off my feet and they were so hot even up until the end.

  77. The jumpman on the heel looks like crap, but for me, it’s the cheap netting and overall sh**-can quality that really ruins these shoes. Nike has dropped the ball on the recent IV retros; the Military’s, the Mars’, and these… they all suck ass. They’re dinging us pretty hard on the pricing, plus making us buy a wack pair too. Think again, Nike.

    I hope other oldschoolers will vote with their wallets and pass on this pack. The sad thing is all the young kids will still eat it up, and Nike will continue to give us s**t shoes cos of it.

  84. princeofthecity: I’m not exactly sure, but everywhere I’ve read that they do plan to include the white/black-fire red colorway with the reflective tongue to the 8/15 package. The colorway is similar but different enough from the retro that released in ‘06. But yeah, it’s a little strange that pics have been leaking early for every other pack so far, but this one, especially because Vs r always so popular.

  89. oh my bad, when i said fire red i was referring to the most recent Vs with fire red which were the ones with the 23 on side and black top part of tongue. the ones in the pack are white/black/fire red which i am thinking/hoping are the ones with the silver tongue.

  91. Jordan Brand is tricking everyone who buys these packs.
    I bought the 7/16 and 2/21 for myself. Only because I wanted the 2’s and the 16’s. But for you’all who are expecting any of the retro’s that used to have NIKE-AIR logo on it, like the 3′,4’s, 5’s, and 6’s, forget about it. It will never happen. You’all wishful thinkers… That’s part of the reason why I bought my particular packs, those shoes didn’t have NIKE AIR on ‘em. I had the feeling NIKE AIR was gone when in 2000, retro’s had the JUMPMAN on ‘em instead of NIKE AIR. The JORDAN BRAND was born, buh-bye NIKE AIR, but you’all knew all this, right?

  92. i have to say that some shoes dont look as good when you have them in pictures as to when u have them in person alot of shoes look not so good but when you are holding them you are amazed!!

  94. All of us wit real Mike fetishes will cop these instantly. Rock da 4’s a few times wit hoop shorts n jeans. The 19’s won’t even get tried on like my 17’s, 7’s, & 10’s from prevous packs. The infamous 11/12 pack is a gift from the Lord. The 8/15 pack is dope. If u aint got gudda 4 these start stackin 4 the 5/18 pack & a couple pair of six-rings in august. P.S. 19’s look silly with jeans and on the hoop court as well. Get hyperflights
