Following reports in the early moments of 2017 that the Air Jordan 3 “Katrina” would release sometime this year, it was announced months later that the excitable release had been pushed, with no timetable for its long desired retail debut. Today, though, it has been vindicated that a drop is indeed scheduled for 2018.
Originally produced in 2006 – though not as a retail release – and auctioned off to help aid in relief efforts following the devastation of Hurricane Katrina in Louisiana and the Gulf Coast, the Air Jordan 3 “Katrina” is now being championed with a May 12, 2018 release date.
