In conjunction with Justin Timberlake’s Man of the Woods tour, the Nike fanatic has teamed up with Jordan Brand for a series of his own exclusive colorways. His new album’s popular track, “Higher Higher,” jumpstarted the ideas for how this might appear on his own collaboration with Joran Brand. The answer? His affinity for the Jordan 3, which happens to be one of his all-time favorite shoes.
The “Higher Higher” message equates to how relationships outweigh the value of money, fame and success, which is translated onto the print of the insoles, featuring phrases like, “FAME IS A LIE” and “STRESS IS CRUEL” – both of which are referenced in the song.
JT’s “Air Higher” offering in “Bio Beige” reimagines the classic makeup of the heritage basketball shoe with an artisanal approach that matches the overall tone and ambiance for his Man of the Woods album. The design evokes a handmade composition with a rugged suede application on the upper with leather laces to complete the man from the woods persona.
