Air Force 25 White/Metallic Silver Exclusive Preview
| The Air Force 1 was and is a legendary shoe. Being the first basketball shoe to have air cushioning, it was the standard for all basketball shoes to follow. Times have changed and basketball shoes have come along way function wise, but the style of the Air Force 1 is the choice of many.
Since 2007 is the 25th anniversary of the Air Force 1, Nike has decided to re-release the shoe, but updated to today’s performance and style standards. The first Air Force Ones were pretty simple: leather, rubber outsole, EAU (encapsulated Air unit). The Air Force XXV (Air Force 25) will have the following: premium leather, accents of exotic material, rubber sole with clear sole for performance and style, Air Max heel, Zoom Air forefoot, and carbon fiber shank plate for stability. Compare the differences and you can see these are your “Daddy’s Air Force Ones.” Be sure to check out all of the photos we have of the Air Force 25. I really like how Nike updated a classic, but kept the signature look sacred and made this shoe a “remodel” rather than a “reinvention.” |
