Back in January 2013, adidas debuted the technological advancement that would carry them through the next five years and beyond. Boost technology is one of the many reasons the German-based sportswear giant has surged in recent years. They’ll honor this coveted cushioning system this year during its 5th anniversary.
The very-first Boost shoe was the beloved Energy Boost – a style foundational to the Boost legacy. Its OG colorway was a monochromatic iteration in black and white with slight yellow accents. Adidas will honor that colorway with an upcoming Ultra Boost.
The shoe appears in black and grey Primeknit fabrication alongside yellow lace tips and metallic silver branding. Tentatively scheduled to release on February 1, give this adidas Ultra Boost “Anniversary” a first look below.
