Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, this year, is home to the 2016 summer Olympic Games. adidas will play a large role in the games in terms of branding, sponsorship and of course, athlete endorsements. But in the midst of all that, we hope that we’ll see the release of what many believe to be the adidas Ultra Boost “Olympic Medals” Pack.
Although nothing is official and adidas hasn’t spoken publicly to this assumption, two new Ultra Boost colorways with metallic gold and metallic silver heel cupping are curious to say the least. A gradient black pair with gold heel cup, alongside a dark grey option with silver heel accents, certainly lead us to believe a general release is very possible.
If nothing else, the two pairs could be counterparts for three stripes athletes who medal place during their respective competitions.
