Although the adidas Ultra Boost franchise feels like one that’s been around forever, the brand’s self-proclaimed greatest running shoe ever is in essence only three years old. Largely still in its infancy, the Ultra Boost remains one of the more popular silhouettes in sneaker culture. Yet, even though only four iterations exist, fans are already clamoring for those earlier executions.
New reports today indicate that adidas is reaching all the way back to the original Ultra Boost this holiday season. Slated to drop in December, the very-first UB 1.0 colorway in Black/Purple-White will return to retailers. Widely beloved as the best Primeknit pattern of the four Ultra Boost variations in circulation, this bringback could certainly prompt others in hopes of returning more energy to the Boost laden silhouette.
The adidas Ultra Boost 1.0 OG does not have a specific release date in December at this time.
