The past year has been a wild, wild ride for Adidas and more specifically the Adidas Originals line. Once thought to many to be a brand to have lost its luster, the line is doing original things with new lifestyle silhouettes that are right in line with what consumers are wanting. Rather that just retroing the old like many heritage lines do, Adidas Originals continues to push the envelope forward with Tubular to creating new shoes that defy the boundaries of what we have seen in the past.
Looking forward to 2016, the Adidas Tubular line will continue to grow including with this new model – the Adidas Tubular Doom.
The Adidas Tubular Doom brings a new outsole with rigid cuts that are quite reminiscent of the vertical touches we have seen on the Adidas Yeezy shoes thus far. The Tubular Doom also spins some Y3 DNA throughout the upper with a midfoot elastic stability strap and Adidas Primeknit upper that literally fits like a sock.
Overseas retailers including Inflammable already have them in stock, but you can expect to see big things happening with the Adidas Tubular Doom in the US in very short order including a special collaboration we’ll talk about when the time is right. (hint hint)
