Tracy McGrady, from 1997 to 2000, electrified the league and Toronto fans alike during his tenure with the Raptors. Adidas Basketball honors that memorable three-year run with the Aurora Borealis “Triple White” Collection.
Also featuring a striking new iteration of the adidas D Lillard 2 ($150), the two-piece offering inspired by the T Dot’s winter climate features the adidas T-Mac 3 ($150) in premium leather and faux fur accents. Playing off the 2004 NBA All-Star Game where McGrady wore red and blue alternates of the T-Mac 3, each of the two colorways feature a glow-in-the-dark upper with blue or green outsoles offering great composition and individuality.
All three models appear triple white only to reveal a Northern Lights glow under the night sky, which ties the host city and McGrady, respectively.
The adidas Aurora Borealis “Triple White” Collection drops on February 11 at select retailers and adidas.
