Following numerous previews leading up to its retail debut later this month, adidas Basketball today officially announces the widely anticipated Harden Vol. 2.

Designed to accommodate Harden’s ability to change directions at an unrelenting speed, the model features a ForgeFiber upper for forefoot lockdown on jab steps, euros and stepbacks — all Harden specials.  The adidas Harden Vol. 2 also highlights full-length Boost which, in this case, equates to 15% more Boost than any other adidas Hoops shoe.

The unique performance silhouette will debut in “California Dreamin,” “Ignite” and “Vision” colorways, the first of which odes to James’ love for Los Angeles. Its counterpart references Harden’s ability to power and ignite the Houston Rockets to greater heights, as the team is off to its best start in franchise history this season. The latter is clearly an ode to the Beard’s court vision and linear focus on greatness. This tracks back to Audubon Middle School in Los Angeles, where James sparked his determination to become an NBA superstar.

Both styles of the adidas Harden Vol. 2 will release on February 16 for $140. They will be available in Los Angeles at 747 Warehouse St. – the two-day event inspired by All-Star Weekend encapsulating the wide intersect between sports and all cultures.
