The 30th anniversary of the Air Jordan 1 has been entertaining to say the least. With the fragment’s, Shattered Backboards, and the upcoming release of the Air Jordan 1.5 “Chicago”, Jordan Brand is pulling out all the stops for the shoe that started it all.
But where do the “Pinnacle” 1’s fit in all this? Absent in large part in the US, and in one case simply dropping from Jordan Release Dates with no explanation whatsoever, hopefully these new sample pairs will provide a road map to where the shoe will set course moving forward.
