Often known for their progressive basketball silhouettes equipped with avant-garde detailing, Brandblack has begun to peak greater lifestyle interest given the introduction of its Aura model. Somewhat of an answer to the chunky “dad shoe” yet done in a cleaner, slightly more slick methodology, the adoring new model was recently revealed in collaborative form with Fairfax’s 424.
After an extremely distorted pair crafted alongside Commonwealth, 424’s rendition is significantly more reserved. Minimally styled in shades of white and grey, mixed material construction offers nuance to the mid cut style which shifts back and forth between premium leather and lightweight textiles. “Sell Your Sole for 424” is notably written at the forefoot while a red heel tab and matching tongue label close the look.
