The frequency at which sneaker sequels release has typically been consistent. Unlike hip hop album sequels, which sometimes unleash 3-4 years after their predecessors, shoe follow-ups are one of the most persistent drops from a year-to-year basis. However, there are a few sequels that have been brought back – in a sense – years after their precursor.

Sneaker Sequels

Predecessor: Nike Air Force 1 (1982)

Sequel: Nike Air Force 2 (1987)
