Most of us have faced this dilemma at some point in our collection construction: you have two pairs to choose from, but you only have enough funds to take home one. Although many of those with verified Twitter accounts usually have the luxury of not having to settle for a single box, everyone has their own personal preferences. In Nice Kicks’ newest column, Pick Your Kick, sneaker connoisseurs select their favorites from tailored head-to-head matchups.

To pop off our Pick Your Kick column, we caught up with Celebrity Sneaker Stalker skipper Wale to catch some of his choices. Before his new album, The Gifted (which features his AJ3-inspired track “88”), hits shelves tomorrow, click through to see some of Wale’s personal sneaker preferences. The D.C. artist cleaned Flight Club out of Jordan 3s, but which colorway is his favorite? Scroll to find out, and let us know your kick picks in the comment section below.

Air Jordan 3 Black/Cement or Air Jordan 3 White/Cement?

Kick Pick: Air Jordan 3 Black/Cement

Wale: “I’m going with the Black Cements because when they came out in 2001, that was the colorway me and my bro SMD would always wear, beat up, and cop again. Now that JB brought the ’88s back, it’s a very close call, but the Black Cements always hold sentimental value. Hov wore them throughout his BP3 Tour. They have retroed numerous times. Also, make sure you check out my Just Blaze-fueled track, ’88,’ for the cement lover in all of us.”
