Not many people were checking for shoes worn by a center with limited offensive prowess. Adidas took a chance with the adidas Mutombo, and its funky African-inspired print in 1993. They may not have taken off then, but with a boost from Teyana Taylor, people are pining for their chance at the adidas Mutombo now. With the boost in retro offerings, it won?t be surprising to see adidas drop these again.
