30 years ago, Michael Jordan stepped onto the biggest stage in college basketball in the Converse Pro Leather. The sneakers are timeless alone, but what he did in them and his number 23 North Carolina jersey helped to make both iconic. Jordan Brand and Converse bridge the gap of his legacy with the Michael Jordan x Converse Limited Edition Signed Commemorative Pack. Thirty individually numbered packages include size 13 Pro Leathers and size 40 jerseys autographed by Michael Jordan. Never to be sold at retail, all sets are up for auction now on eBay with all proceeds benefitting the James R. Jordan Foundation.

  1. Pretty nice package, for what looks like a very good cause, does anyone have any information about this charity beyond what is on their website? ?Charity Navigator, which I usually use to determine an organizations uprightness is unable to locate the James R. Jordan Foundation. ?I’m not wealthy enough to bid on these packages, and I would like to contribute, but only if I can be assured that financially this organization is on the up and up. ?And I’m not asserting that they aren’t, just I like to trust outside audits, like Charity Navigator….

    • they came out like 9/10 years ago. in this same colorway. they just didn’t have all that commemorative branding on them. they were just retro pro weapons.?

      • are you dumb or just plain retarded??i said they’re ULTERIOR MOTIVE for buying converse has finally been revealed. if you don’t know what an ulterior motive is then you should keep your mouth shut.

        • LOL, chill dude, it’s no big deal… not like he criticized your point of view, he just added extra info, or assumed you meant sumthin else. Damn, honestly, how u guna over-react over some comment over the internet, much less just another blog?… May be cliche, but you need to hit the mirror again, and check yourself bro, it ain’t nu’n, goin’ off like he insulted your mommy. :/

          • Oh, and to reply, that Carolina blue’s hot… would cop since it’s so iconic, the step to the good life, and fame for his winning shot as a black man, but you know ebay, they charge big time… but this time, I see why…

          • his comment added nothing relevant to my comment. i said nike had an ulterior motive for buying converse and what did he say? nike owned converse for a long time. what the fuck was the point of telling me something i already know?!?! both of you are dumb as fuck. or retarded as fuck. or both.?

  2. Yet I can’t afford them but these and the Nike air mags are charity so if you have the money buy them you will get all your money back at the end of the year So if your paid there really free if u request the proof certificate

    • Except that isn’t how a tax write off works. ?Charitable deductions are a tax write off, but you certainly don’t get 100% of the money “back” at the end of the year. ?You need to do an itemized return, and then the benefit isn’t as huge as you would think, it just deducts from your gross income number… so if you spent $5,000 on a jordan autographed pair of shoes, you could subtract that number from your income, less the value of the collectible, as you can’t write off the whole value…?

      • Wow, did I really invest time out of my life attempting to explain tax write offs to someone posting under the name: ?”Buck Shots To Ya HEAd OVA Da KickS.” ?

        That’s 5 minutes I’d like back.

  3. One of my mans mans got his Air Mags freeeeeeeee crazy but true knowledge is power now Buck SHOT
