"Cough Drop" Nike Air Foamposite One

Nike Foamposite releases have been consistent over the past couple of years to say the least. Last year saw the release of the “Copper” Foams, the “Eggplant” Foams, the “Pearl” Foamposite Pros and these “Cough Drop” Foams. The latter is our highlight in the “In Retrospect” column. If you recall, Nike initially unleashed this shoe in limited numbers during mid June; however, the increased want for this shoe caused Nike to re-release the “Cough Drop” Foams again during the holiday season.

Did you purchase the “Cough Drop” Nike Air Foamposite One, and was it worth the money you paid for it? If not, are you wishing you would have snagged them last June/December or were you intrigued by another Foamposite release? Lastly, was this one of your favorite releases of 2010? Got them for 100 bucks not b grade or anything at the Nike outlet at sawgrass mall Florida. Def worth a 100 spot lol

I was fortunate to get this at the Nike Employee shore for $108 when they first dropped. Here in Beaverton they’re going for $80 at the factory stores. Crazy…too bad all Foams don’t end up like that.

Got mine for $89.00 @ the Sawgrass Mills Mall Nike Store (South Florida)?- couldn’t pass them up for that price!

  5. Bigkick

Picked up last Thursday for $80 at outlet here in the Sip… Don’t like foams THAT MUCH but for the price I couldn’t pass up!!!!

  6. complete letdown these were the worst foams ever released; that ahthracite/black? color was dull and the red was extra dull i sold these for retail like a week after i got them no kinda razzledazzle or anything

These were over-produced or something. The outlet has had these for months and keep getting new shipments. Only 120, not the way a foamposite should be treated haha.

It wasn’t that they were over produced, it was the fact that the general release of these was the same day as the Cool Grey’s so nobody was checking for them. Nike had big balls asking people to drop $375 for 2 pairs of shoes 2 days before Christmas. Been waiting on these to hit the Footaction outlet here so I can get them for $60 / $70

wore mine for the first time this past week … they are ill and like the fact i won’t have to worry about yellowing like most foams in the sole …. dope kick

  13. Awesome shoe! I never had my feet in any of the foams. I been wanting the Black/Royals since like 95, but they sell too quick. I always wondered why the $200 tag until I tried em on.??I understand now.?Near perfect blend of comfort, support, grip, lightweight, and fit the netting sucked my foot in like memory foam or something.

I almost broke plans with my wife to go run a couple games right after I bought these.

And to keep with the price discussion. I got mine for $150 two or three months ago. Monday or Tuesday, they were going for $100 at the Nike Outlet in Bossier City, LA.

Picked them up at the Vacaville, ca outlet for 120. In there today with my fathers day giftcard and they flew off the shelves. All out.

aha try 89.99 in Florida.. They have an entire wall full of these.. I feel bad for those who waited or paid 200 for em. Learn how to gauge “hype” next time lol
